Our approach
Legal English Plus aims to provide a website that can be used by people with a wide range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies. We design for clear structure, readable contrast, keyboard access, visible focus, descriptive labels, scalable text and meaningful error messages.
Current measures
The platform uses semantic headings, labelled form fields, alternative text for meaningful images, responsive layouts, reduced reliance on colour alone and straightforward navigation. Purchased PDFs are prepared with readability in mind, although the accessibility of source publications may vary by edition.
Known limitations
Some complex PDF layouts, payment-provider pages or legacy content may not fully meet every accessibility need. We prioritise reported barriers that prevent access to essential information, purchase, account management or support.
Feedback
Please contact us with the page, device, browser, assistive technology and a description of the difficulty. We will acknowledge the report, investigate practical alternatives and record improvements in our accessibility programme.
