Copyright and Personal-Use Licence

1. Ownership

All text, design, exercises, illustrations, branding, software and publication files are protected by copyright and related rights owned by Legal English Plus or its licensors. Purchase grants a limited licence; it does not transfer ownership.

2. Permitted use

A named customer may read the purchased file, store it on reasonable personal devices, make private notes and print a reasonable number of copies for individual use. An institution may use content only within the seats and classroom permissions stated in its agreement.

3. Prohibited use

You must not redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, post, upload, broadcast, translate for publication, remove watermarks, defeat technical controls, create a derivative commercial publication, train a public model on the content, or make substantial extracts available to a group without written permission.

4. Quotations and academic reference

Short quotations may be used for genuine review, scholarship or professional commentary where permitted by law, accompanied by appropriate attribution and without substituting for purchase of the publication.

5. Enforcement

Suspected misuse may result in investigation, preservation of evidence, temporary suspension, revocation, takedown requests and legal action. Decisions will consider context, reliability of evidence and proportionality.
