Educational purpose
Legal English Plus teaches vocabulary, communication, reading, writing and advocacy skills. It does not provide legal advice, establish a lawyer-client relationship, certify legal competence or determine the law applicable to a particular transaction or dispute.
Jurisdictional differences
Legal systems use terms differently. A word, clause or procedure explained in one context may have another meaning elsewhere. Readers must consult current legislation, cases, procedural rules, regulatory material and qualified counsel for the relevant jurisdiction.
Professional responsibility
Examples, templates and exercises are learning tools. They should not be copied into live documents without review. The reader remains responsible for confidentiality, conflicts, filing rules, client instructions, evidence and professional standards.
Accuracy and updates
We take care in preparing content, but cannot guarantee that every example remains current or suitable for every purpose. Errata and edition notices should be read together with the publication.
